WHAT COVID-19 HAS TAUGHT US

It's the most talk subject lately, COVID-19. It has taken a toll on all of us, globally. Despite all of this, it helps us to reflect what we all have miss out before this outbreak happened.

We all have taken things for granted for as long as we lived. Hygiene, saving for rainy days, emergency fund, quality time with our love ones and planning for things that matter the most.

1.HYGIENE

People are flocking the supermarket to buy masks and hand sanitizer. Items that only certain individu needed depend on their job scope. These people who bought in bulk without thinking about others who also need them are selfish. These create panic buy. Even toilet paper! Buy not to worry, for as long there are soap or handwash, you're good. Keep your hands clean as frequently as possible. 

2.FOOD SUPPLY 

Government has assured that stocks and supplies of food and basic necessity are more than enough during this restricted movement order. So please don't rush to buy groceries. Just get the essentials for this period, so you don't have to go out everyday. This also reduce the exposure to crowd and unnecessary contacts. Leave some for others when you buy.

3.FINANCIAL

Lots of business are closing and this event surely has an impact on the economy as a whole. For small businesses, self-employed and those who are paid daily, this makes the burden even heavier for them. It will be even hard for those who doesn't have enough saving to cover their expenses. In this situation, you wish you had save more. There are a lot of uncertainties in this world, not just this virus. Might as well prepare, because we  ever know what will hit us next. 

4.QUALITY TIME

Wish you had more time? Now you do..unless you're one of the frontliners (salute and respect to them). This is the perfect time to have that activities you and your wife and kids longing to do! Get that Monopoly board out, practice that song on an instrument, make that YouTube video you been dying to record. Tons of fun activity and playtime for the whole family you can do at home. Talk about the past time, read that book,cook that recipe..the list is endless!

So for as long as you can, cherish this moment. Try not to look the bad side of it..look for positivity. In this time, your emotion should also be look after..stay happy, stay active and most importanly..STAY AT HOME

BTS AND ARMY PHENOMENON

Since 2019, my wife and my daughter has been a fan of BTS, the powerhouse K-Pop boy group.
And guess what? i was blamed for this. How you may ask? Because of one song - Boy With Love.

Thats's right. That song caught my eye..i mean ear. The music is so catchy and the beat of the song just makes you wanna move. Yet, i was never really a K-Pop fan, maybe just a bit during Wonder Girl and PSY.

But BTS is kinda bit different than the typical ones you normally listen to. And if you have watch any of their dance choreograph, it's amazing. Full of energy, fast movement, and it synchronized with the music beat.

Fast forward, my wife has been following BTS updates, news and tv shows. She's officially an ARMY. The BTS fan base called themselves that by the way. Her search on Youtube, IG and Twitter has been all about BTS. He knows all the group members' name!

Talk about my 6 year old daughter by the way. She is pretty good with the dance move! Obviously she loves to dance as she memorized the steps in a short amount of time. Impressive i'd say. And because of that, i have made a few videos of her dancing to BTS song such as the hit of 2019, Boy with Love, Idol and Not Today.

LE TOUR D'LANGKAWI

Today LTDL happened in Kuching, Sarawak. I think it's the first time they held it here..correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway,a lot of mixed feeling surrounding this event. But most of the reaction I've seen and heard was it causes traffic jam! 

I couldn't agree more. A lot of main road were closed and redirect and that causes road user to detour their usual route to work. 

Eventually, it ended before noon and cyclist from Kazakhstan won it. Congratulations to him. Ok, back to the road user's complaints. Yes, about the traffic jam. Those who complained obviously had their morning route redirected and they have no choice but opted to use alternative route which cause them to drive further than usual. 

Either way, this was an experienced for all of us. Good thing for us is outsider knows where Kuching is now. Hope they've tried our local food and make them come back. Good for economy I'd say.

WHEN TO QUIT YOUR JOB

I have one goal in my life that i really love to achieve. Financial freedom.

But how can i? I don't have enough money and i can't just quit my job? It's the only source of income i have.

I AM FROM THE FUTURE

The truth about the title is not a scam or fraud. Why? because we are the reflection of the future for the younger generations, our children or younger friends and family members.

What would happen in the next 5 to 10 years of you life if you did something or didn't..? That decision will create your future. i can speak from experience..One sure thing i regret was not saving money and learn about investing in my 20's when i should have. I never thought how crucial is to have knowledge about personal finance.

2020 and money is still not enough

New year but same old me. Most of us are. Well, like the old saying say...it's never too late.
In this era of technology and digital, making money has never been easier. The revolution of apps and various platform created limitless opportunities for all of us as long as we have a smartphone or a laptop with internet access..we can earn a little bit extra or more!

The only thing that is stoppping you is YOU! Decide to take action now or you will be left behind. Crypto, robo-advisor, are examples for those who wants to invest hassle free. Yes, i'm talking about make money here. Those two are what i am investing now. Other than that, i tried selling old unused items laying around the house to make extra cash.
